I’m sure all the runners on the road are now in a lot of pain, including the 3 we’re tracking.
Pete is leading our pack of 3 and he passed through Winston Park after 7hrs, 9 mins (& 49 secs). Sandy has just gone through the checkpoint at Winston Park, nearly half an hour behind Peter – in 7 hrs, 26 mins & 52 secs. Alan hasn’t yet passed through Winston Park. At Sandy’s current pace, her projected finished time will be 11 hrs 16 mins – so far, still a “comfortable” 45 mins between her and the final gun. Let’s hope she can keep her legs ticking over. And I’m sure Alan will soon be hitting the Winston Park checkpoint.
